Farro
If you like whole grains to eat as a cereal but can't tolerate wheat berries you should give Farro a try. I first did this almost 10 years ago when I discovered that modern wheat eaten as a cereal gave me enough gas to light up a large city. Checked around and found that Farro an ancient form of wheat dating back around 20,000 years is not hybridized unlike modern wheat and did not cause gastric problems.
