so someone explain something to me about electrical energy production..

It has been a while since I took a science class, so bear with me and help me out if I get something wrong.

Hydroelectric dams run off of spinning turbines, in other words, a generator.

Nuclear power works off of steam spinning turbines, also a generator.

Wind turbines are also spinning a generator.

A generator is nothing more than a rotor and a stator, that is, magnets spinning around a stationary core of wire, correct?

Then with all the wheels spinning in the world, trains, trucks…

so someone explain something to me about electrical energy production..
