throwing this one out to the SB brain trust… the primer shortage is getting me desperate, and I’m thinking of using Large Pistol Primers (which I have a lot of) instead of using Large Rifle Primers (which I have few)…

my thought is if I can keep the pressures equivalent (don’t exceed max pressure rating for Large Pistol Primer) it might work out alright…

this would be for use in an M1 Garand (30-06)
