Thursday(7-25) the Park Fire was started by a 42 yr old convicted Felon setting his Mother's car on fire and pushing it down a ravine.
It was over 15,000 acres the first day.

Today(7-28) it is in excess of 350,000 acres(appx 550sq miles) and 12% contained.

It has burned from Chico, CA past Red Bluff, CA headed for Redding, CA (eastside)on the West slope/base of the Sierras
