Was from a "major interstate property investment firm" that had, to my great surprise, chosen ME to make an offer on my home. (I own the place outright and have for many years)

This benevolent corporation would pay all fees, transfer bills etc etc etc – and give me "cash on the spot" for an agreed upon price.

Little bit farther down the page was their "cash sale offer' amount

Even my dear wife used a bad word – their offer was only $106K UNDER what the house is taxed at right…

So, I got this letter in the mail
