Amazon Jungle Night Hike
Nothing is quite like walking through the rainforest at night. Far away from anything, the darkness and the feeling of being surrounded by an incredible diversity of life that is involved deep in a million-year-old battle for daily survival is indescribable.
Led by Yagua Indian guide, Segundo, near the Explorama Lodge in Peru, we were able to spot a variety of life including insects, spiders (a spider eating a huge grasshopper and a burrowing tarantula), leaf-cutter ants, and more.
