Benn thinking recently that it's be nice to care less about my blade, I'm considering switching to something stainless.

I have an assortment of kabars, esses, tops, ontario, varusteleke etc carbon steel knives that have all been loved and earned their patinas over the years.

Mainly I want a tough knife that's easy to sharpen- I'm not super critical about edge retention like the knife community seems to be as I've been plenty happy with the Performance of run of the mill average carbon…
