If you’re going to live off the land…
I spent a couple of years on the Navajo reservation,
that was the closest I’ve been to people living off the land.
Many of the people I was with didn’t speak English, some
had never been to school, most tended sheep.

Most everyone had their water hauled in on trucks, most
of the backwoods people had propane, most went to the
trading post at least once a week, all of them had relatives
who took them places, many had portable tv’s and radios
that they ran off their car batteries, and…
