I've come to realize the 200 or so yards my AR15 can accurately shoot puts me at too much risk during TEOTWAWKI. I did some calculations and the average adult can run that distance in 41 seconds. If I need to snipe the leader of some raiders I can't necessarily get away in time; especially if I'm injured, burdened, etc. It seems to make more sense to have a true long distance rifle.
