After Action Report – Power failure
About 9:30 am just after our morning walk we lost power until about an hour ago, about 6 hrs. First the internet failed, then a few min later, the power. I heard my neighbors Generac, 6 houses away on the next street fire up. Her husband is on a breathing machine and has to have power.

Solo Winter Bushcraft Camping in Alaska
I took a helicopter from Talkeetna Alaska to a remote section of river at the base of Mt. Denali. There I set up camp for 3 days of cold weather solo camping and bushcraft. However, when the temperature suddenly dropped well bellow freezing, the river began to freeze up and getting home meant riding a frozen river of ice.
