I run regularly, and do most of my running either on trails or on the country roads I live on. I'm currently training for a marathon, so my weekly mileage is starting to add up. Freezing canned goods?

Can some canned goods be frozen after they're opened? For example: I wanted some Chili the other day but only wanted a half of a can. So I dumped the other half into a freezer bag and froze it. Will that be ok to eat later on? What about canned fruits? Concentrated soups?
